English:

9th Grade Magnet World Literature/Composition (Wisnewski)
Required:
•    3-ring binder -- 1" or larger (larger if using for multiple classes)
NOTE:  As classwork becomes increasingly more digital, students might find a different organization system more beneficial.  I have seen students have success with shared binders (more than one class in a larger binder), folders, and/or spiral notebooks with pockets.  As long as students have a place to store papers they are given, I allow autonomy with self-organization
•    Dividers (I recommend 5, and the following organization: Notes, Vocab, Tests, EOC review, Essays/Projects)
NOTE:  see above note regarding classwork organization
•    flash drive (does not have to be exclusively for this class, but students should have one)
•    pens, pencils, paper
•    Purchase and read The Happy Student and other Summer Reading book (see website or handout).
•    Students will be required to purchase books for Independent Reading Projects throughout the year.
Recommended:

•    markers/colored pencils
•    Post it notes
